SCCAO Retirees

In the fall of 1998, retiring members of SCCAO decided they would like to continue meeting as a group on a social basis. The group called itself SCCAO Alumni or SCCALUM for short. Two times each year, usually in May and in October, the group (15-20 people each time) gets together for a tour of some facility and then meets for lunch.

These tours have included such places as the Arboretum at University of Guelph, the Perimeter Institute in Waterloo, a hike on the Bruce Trail, Eastdell Estates Winery in Niagara, Royal Ontario Museum in Toronto, the Royal Botanical Gardens in Burlington, and the Wye Marsh in Midland, Toronto Reference Library, McMichael Gallery in Keinberg to name a few.
